Hello,

Since 2 weeks ago my phone has been started acting all weird. It started with my Phone freezing and restarting itself one morning. It showed the LG logo for a few seconds, and so went blackness and the same thing repeated. LED did non starting time blinking at first but later on a few loops the LED came on, the animation played and phone turned on nicely. No more such problems during the balance of the twenty-four hour period.

Fast frontwards 2 days. It got worse. The freezing and restarting happened more often and at one indicate it was in the LG logo -> black screen -> LG logo loop for a proficient ten minutes before it booted. It besides drains my bombardment nigh ten% every single fourth dimension.

So I decided to do a Hard Reset when I managed to keep the telephone running long plenty. The hard reset procedure itself worked flawlessly, no issues during the reset what and then e'er. I though the trouble was over until a few minutes after the hard reset when I was reinstalling my apps, it froze and restarted over again.

I started googling well-nigh the issue and found a few matches. Some people suggested replacing the bombardment and some suggested putting a piece of paper between the bombardment and the SIM carte du jour slot from which I did the latter. That actually worked for a few days until the reboots came dorsum and information technology got worse by the 24-hour interval when it finally was completely unusable since it kept restarting after booting up (usually information technology didn't even get to that point). So I decided to try a new battery considering information technology was the cheapest option available at that moment.

At first all looked adept on a new battery only nonetheless, but a few minutes later rebooting the phone from a new battery it froze yet again and restarted itself. So 25€ wasted on zero.

At this betoken I'one thousand starting to run out of options and really would not like to buy a new phone since my G3 is only 2 years old (warranty just concluded in October 2016).

Any suggestions are more than welcome at this betoken.

Best regards,

Taavi

Yesterday I tried flashing the stock V30B marshmallow ROM onto the phone using LG wink tool 2014. It lasted without restarts for almost an hour and then it all started again.

So in conclusion:
A) It'due south not the bombardment.
B) It's not the software.
C) Thus it must exist the hardware.

Since my warranty is void already, the repair costs would probably be quite large.
I recollect the only run a risk left for me is to suck it up and buy a new phone.

It was fun while information technology lasted though. RIP.

Funny affair is that afterwards I removed my SIM carte, the issues have stopped for ~24 hours. Yesterday I was able to scan reddit and scout videos for nigh 2 hours directly with no issue when I had no SIM card in the phone. I volition try inserting the SIM carte du jour again after I have fully recharged it to come across if peradventure information technology has something to do with the SIM carte du jour connectedness.

Put in the SIM card and it didn't even terminal 24 hours before restarting. Took it out again. Unfortunately it now restarted fifty-fifty without the SIM card then it still must exist some hardware failure.

Same issue here. Changed battery, factory reset, rooted and TWRP+CyanogenMod 14.1 flashed and SU granted.

Constant reboots. Sometimes bootlooped until I remove battery

Having the same problem. Tried new battery but it turned out to be a cheap clone that was worse than old bombardment. Got another from mbuynow which last longer but still restarts but non that often. Tried the paper trick to to avail. Likewise tried the LG suite to come across if it helped but no luck. Running marshmallow 6.0 and have done a total reinstall. Is this probable to exist hardware problem?

Got another from mbuynow which final longer just all the same restarts but not that often. Tried the paper trick to to avail. Also tried the LG suite to run across if information technology helped but no luck. Running marshmallow vi.0 and have washed a full reinstall. Is this likely to be hardware problem?

Cannot tell for sure simply seems it is a hardware problem which is actually pitiful since besides the restarts the phone is still in very adept shape. I would take it to repairs but as my warranty is already void it would make sense to simply buy a new phone and sell the current 1 to parts.

Information technology can boot normally with the usb to estimator, but non with charger. It can likewise boot to twrp, wipe, install and fix the system works, installing other roms works besides, and they tin boot normally, just it shut down, as soon I remove the cable... I thought information technology was nougat rom, it change some in system files or drivers similar bombardment options... I'm out of options...

I had similar bug simply I realized that different SIMs seemed to work with the phone. Went to my carrier and requested a new one. Since then, no issues. Perhaps something with the sim card slot?

I had like issues but I realized that different SIMs seemed to piece of work with the phone. Went to my carrier and requested a new i. Since and so, no issues. Perchance something with the sim bill of fare slot?

It happens even when my SIM card is not in the phone. It could easily be the SIM bill of fare tray but cannot confirm without taking it to repairs.

One of the hard resets I did was from full accuse and I didn't enable anything, including location. It still went into the reboot loop.

It might exist a hardware problem in some LG G3 phones.
It began rebooting and bootlooping afterward 2 days, that i had disabled the location services.
Now i'm thinking of getting a new battery only i don't actually recall it will do whatever outcome..
So i might buy a new phone..

Temporary Fix

1- Remove the SIM, plow on the phone, put it in Airplane Way.
two-Insert the SIM plow on the phone.(Don't change Air mode).
iii- Turn off machine backup/restore in settings.
4-Go to network setting>Preferred network Type.
v-Plow Off the Airplane Mode and immediately SELECT THE 3G simply(Before it catches the signals), in some phones WCDMA only.(Do not Select 4G/LTE/2G).
vi-Washed
seven-Restart the phone.(Now it will non reboot)
Drawbacks:
In 2G signal zone, There will be no signals.
Its a hardware problem,Merely its a way to play a trick on it.
